How FJDMV is helping

We seek out sources of free or reduced cost food that would otherwise go to waste. Through partnerships with supermarkets, restaurants, and other food sellers and distributors, we pick up and deliver thousands of pounds of good nutritious food every week.

Our Partners

Every Saturday we pick up a car full of freshly baked, yummy bread from Lyon Bakery and deliver it to our Community Leaders to distribute with our Dough to Door program.

  • Food Rescue USA periodically provides us with excess fresh food from grocers, restaurants, and other sources.

  • Plus One gives us freshly baked bread from Lyon Bakery and produce from farmer's markets and farms every week

  • So What Else helps underserved communities in the Baltimore Washington Metro Area with food, basic necessities, after-school programs, and volunteer opportunities. They provide us with bread and produce.

  • Passion and Compassion provides nutritious food to anyone who is hungry in Prince George’s County, Maryland and beyond. They provide us with pallets of produce.

  • Whole Foods donates excess food, including pallets of pollos.
